I love your videos man, but you’re consistently criticizing Brock Lesnar when he definitely earned his stripes. Carwin threw enough strikes at Brock than it took to knock out his last 12 victims combined, and Brock weathered it, and had gas for the second round. Who else would be #1? Fedor? I love Fedor but IDK if he can be #1 still when his last three years of fights were wins over Sylvia, Arlovski, Rogers, but losing in the first round to Werdum? Brock is #1, like it or not I believe.

Although who is “the best” certainly makes for some interesting conversation, its basically impossible to define “best”. You could argue that a great number of fighters are “better” than Lesnar or Carwin, including Mir who has lost to both of them. Its not a better or best scenario – its two guys fighting, one wins and one loses. Any way you slice it, UFC 116 was extremely entertaining!

I agree with you completely. I don’t see calling the winner of this the top heavyweight. I think it’s rediculous that they completely demoted Fedor after his loss. I still find him more impressive than what I saw last night.

Good Recap, and I agree Brock showed he could overcome adversity, but this fight didn’t show a clear cut number 1. I will talk about this in my review.

Brock was afraid of Shane’ punches, clearly, thats why he was running. we now know though that Brock can take punches. he shouldn’t have run like a bitch anyway lol big props to the ref for seeing that Brock wasn’t hurt. anyway the point here is though someone that can beat Brock must have great take down defense + great cardio. the easiest way to beat Brock is by beating him on his feet and stop him from taking you down. Cain and Jr. Dos have a good chance to beat Brock. Overeem will beat Brock
